The Automatic/Project Manager© was not designed to eliminate people, but rather to automate the "Project Management" process, in a way that, eliminates Paperwork, improves Data accuracy, enhances timely trade scheduling, assures ROI and shortens the Project's Timeline, promoting Owner & Subcontractor trust in your company, increasing your company's reputation, as the "Contractor of Choice," in the industry.

 

An added bonus is, the Project Manager can now efficiently take on more responsibility (while actually doing less physical work), enabling your company to take-on additional Projects without having to add expensive personnel.

Note: Some Clients find the Automatic/Project Manager© provides enough tools for the Project Manager to be able to do Estimating as well.

  • Is compatible with all versions of Microsoft Excel - from 2007 SP3, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Office 365. It is also compatible with either 32-bit or 64-bit versions.

  • Unfortunately, the Mac versions of Excel are not supported.

 

Attention Mobile Device Users: 

  • Due to the nature of our software, it cannot be directly used on mobile devices. Please follow these steps to use it on your PC after downloading it to your Files app (or equivalent)

    • Upload the zip file to your storage app (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive) ​

    • Open the Storage app on your PC

    • Download the Zip file, extract it, read the instructions, and begin your evaluation

 

TRIAL PURPOSE: 

  • The 30-Day Free Trial is to give you the opportunity to Evaluate the program to verify if it works as advertised and provides the processes and documents necessary, to improve your Management of Construction Projects.

 

LIMITATIONS:

  • The Trial version is not to be used commercially and consequently does not allow the “Save”, “Save As” or “Export” features during the trial period, so don't close the Program until you have finished the particular test you are conducting, or you will lose the data you are trialing. 

 

LICENSE GRANT:

  • The Automatic/Project Manager© is licensed, not sold, to you. 

  • Before purchasing a "Business Use License," you must install the Trial Version for Evaluation purposes as described above.

  • By the end of the 30-Day Trial, to continue its use as a fully functional, commercially used (Royalty-free) program, at least one "Business Use License" must be purchased.

 

LICENSE REQUIREMENT​

  • A license must be purchased for each computer where the Automatic/Project Manager© is to be used.

Antivirus False-Positive:

If your Antivirus company were to quarantine your file as a false-positive virus, most companies present you with the opportunity to un-quarantine the file, if not, the most effective way is to report your false positive to your antivirus company. Email or call their support desk with the subject “False Positive,” give them the file name and ask them to fix the error in their product. They usually fix the problem within 2 to 3 workdays.

 

DOWNLOAD PROCESS

  • When you Download the Automatic/Project Manager©, you will not only receive the Trial Program you will also receive a very detailed User's Manual.

  • Due to their combined size (9.0 MB), they have been Zipped together in the Download file & must be unzipped when received

  • It is recommended that the two files be placed in the same folder to facilitate ease of use in the future.

 

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)​

  • When you first open the Automatic/Project Manager© Trial, you will be presented with our EULA & asked to read it & Agree/Disagree

  • It only opens if you agree, if not, do not install the software file.

 

TERM OF USE:​

  • If you agree, another window will open describing that you only have 30 days of trial. 

  • It identifies your computer ID and notes that before the end of 30-days, to contact Author (Support@AutoProjectManager.com) to pass on your computer's ID & receive Registration Information.

  • When the window is closed, the Automatic/Project Manager© will open, ready for your Evaluation.

  • Note: The Trial version can be slow to Open, be patient.

 

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:​

  • You do not have to wait 30 days to purchase a "Business Use License." As soon as you know the Automatic/Project Manager© is right for you, simply email: Support@AutoProjectManager.com

  • You will be given Price, Payment options & asked for Computer ID 

  • As soon as payment is confirmed & Computer ID received,

  • An Activation Key with instructions will be emailed to you.

 

EASE OF USE:

  • When you first open the Automatic/Project Manager©, it may appear a bit overwhelming, as it is designed for projects up to 12-months long, however, the actual amount of manual input and effort is minor:

  • If your project is only 4-mo. just hide mo. 8 thru 12 columns - no problem

  • Do the same for the Subcontractor Payout columns.

  • If your Projects go beyond 12-mos, let us know and we can extend the time.

 

PASSWORD PROTECTION:

  • Each sheet in the workbook is UN-Protected to allow you to change CSI Codes during Setup, if required.

  • When finished with Setup, be sure to Password-Protect the Budget sheet & other sheets you work on, to prevent accidental data contamination. 

  • Cells requiring manual input(red marquee) remain open available for entries
